Anil Kumar Raj

Anil is a veteran of the telecom industry with roots tracing back to the earliest days of mobile telecom. Anil was the start-up CEO of Hutchison in India and launched the country’s very first mobile network. He started his career at Ericsson where he held a number of senior management positions in Sweden and in Asia Pacific.

As Head of Ericsson’s Smartphone Business Unit, he was responsible for launching the world’s first smartphone and first Bluetooth product. He also headed Ericsson’s companies in India and Indonesia establishing the company as the market leader. While at Ericsson, he also spearhead the merger of Ericsson’s and Sony’s handset businesses into Sony Ericsson and went on to forge the Symbian initiative where he also served as Chairman.

Rohit Chandra

Rohit has over 25 years of senior management experience in telecom. As COO of Uninor (Telenor India Subsidiary), he led the efforts of launching a nationwide brand and was key to the fastest IT Infrastructure and Network roll-out in India. He also set up Uninor’s sales and distribution network, and recruited key staff for launch.

As ED at Aircel, he made the company into one of the fastest growing operators in the country with 11 Mn subscribers. He led 3000 staff members – securing Aircel the No. 1 position across several states in India. Rohit was also EVP at Ericsson India, managing Sales & Marketing and in charge of the Technical Solutions Division – gaining the company a 42% share of the mobile infrastructure market.

Sat Pal Khattar

Prominent lawyer, Indian community leader and businessman. Founder of Khattar Wong & Partners, one of the largest law firms in Singapore, and the Chairman of Khattar Holdings, a private investment firm with investments in Singapore, India and the UK.

Chairman of the Singapore Business Federation, member of the President Council for Minority Rights, life trustee of the Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA), and Co-chairman of the Singapore-India Partnership Foundation. Also sits on the boards of Guocoland Limited and Haw Par Corporation.

Awarded the Padma Sri by the Indian Government in 2011.

Nalin Mansukhlal Shah

Mr. Nalin Mansukhlal Shah has over 40 years of experience in fields of finance and auditing. He was associated with one of the big four audit firms, Deloitte Haskins & Sells, as a member of the Governing Board of Deloitte India for several years and also as National Professional Practice Director for 2 years and Chairman of Deloitte India’s Audit Technical Committee for over five years. In his career he has handled major audits of various Banks and PSU’s, such as Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd., Infrastructure Development Finance Co. Ltd., Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Ltd., Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd, HDFC Bank Ltd., Axis Bank Ltd., Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd., Royal Bank of Scotland, Deutsche Bank, Air India, ONGC, Indian Petrochemicals Co. Ltd., Cotton Corporation of India Ltd, The Board of Control for Cricket in India, etc.

He was a member of the Accounting Standards Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a member of the Institute’s Expert Advisory Committee for 5 year and was Technical Reviewer for the Financial Reporting Review Board (FRRB) of the Institute and a member of the Institute’s Shield Panel for the Best Published Accounts 2012. He was also a member of the Corporate Laws Committee of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Takao Ito

Mr. Takao Ito is the Project Leader at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Japan) where he is responsible for the ESCO business. As Director and Chief Strategy Officer at OMC, Ito-san oversees strategic planning for the Company and the enhancement of strategic collaboration between OMC and its investor Mitsui & Co., Ltd.

Meet Malhotra

Mr. Meet Malhotra is an eminent and well-known senior advocate, based out of the Delhi High Court. His specialized practice is in the regulatory jurisdictions, specially telecom and electricity. Mr. Malhotra was retained counsel for the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) from 1997 to 2007. Schooled at St. Columba’s, New Delhi, and St. John’s, Chandigarh, Mr. Malhotra graduated with an Honours degree in English Literature from Government College for Men, Chandigarh, in 1982. He took a Masters Degree in English Literature, in the first class, from Punjab University, Chandigarh, in 1984. Thereafter, he taught English Literature for the next six years i.e. 1984-1990, at colleges in Chandigarh and Delhi. He studied for and obtained an LLB degree from Delhi University in 1990, resigned his full tenure lecturership, and took up practice at law.
