The team has extensive experience in creating large value in both the telecommunications and consumer markets. Most of the key team members have a long history of having worked together earlier in several successful ventures.

Sushilkumar Jiwarajka | Chairman of the Board

Prominent industry leader and entrepreneur with over 35 years of diverse industry experience. Represented India in international trade delegations led by Heads of State and Senior Cabinet Ministers.

Chairman & MD Essjay Ericsson (JV with LM Ericsson). Has formed JVs with Panasonic, HP Global Finance and North Star Batteries.

Chairman of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Chairman of Artheon, a diversified conglomerate with interests in Telecom, IT, Energy and Security. President of Infrastructure and Logistics Federation of India.

Anil Raj | Managing Director

Anil Raj

Anil is a veteran of the telecom industry with roots tracing back to the earliest days of mobile telecom. Anil was the start-up CEO of Hutchison in India and launched the country’s very first mobile network. He started his career at Ericsson where he held a number of senior management positions in Sweden and in Asia Pacific.

As Head of Ericsson’s Smartphone Business Unit, he was responsible for launching the world’s first smartphone and first Bluetooth product. He also headed Ericsson’s companies in India and Indonesia establishing the company as the market leader. While at Ericsson, he also spearhead the merger of Ericsson’s and Sony’s handset businesses into Sony Ericsson and went on to forge the Symbian initiative where he also served as Chairman.

Rohit Chandra | Chief Executive Officer

Rohit Chandra

Rohit has over 25 years of senior management experience in telecom. As COO of Uninor (Telenor India Subsidiary), he led the efforts of launching a nationwide brand and was key to the fastest IT Infrastructure and Network roll-out in India. He also set up Uninor’s sales and distribution network, and recruited key staff for launch.

As ED at Aircel, he made the company into one of the fastest growing operators in the country with 11 Mn subscribers. He led 3000 staff members – securing Aircel the No. 1 position across several states in India. Rohit was also EVP at Ericsson India, managing Sales & Marketing and in charge of the Technical Solutions Division – gaining the company a 42% share of the mobile infrastructure market.

Koichi Yamada | Chief Financial & Admin Officer

Koichi Yamada

Yamada has been with the Infrastructure Business Unit of Mitsui & Co. Ltd., Tokyo since 2009 and is currently on secondment to OMC Power as Chief Financial & Admin Officer.

Prior to joining OMC, he was Manager of the Infrastructure Business Development Division in EMEA region for the last 10 years, and leading Venture Investments in New Energy and Mobility sectors in EMEA Regions with work such as sourcing, due diligence and negotiating contracts related to transactions. Yamada has a B.A., Economics from Chuo University.

Sarraju Narasinga Rao | Chief Technology & Information Officer

Sarraju Narasinga Rao

Sarraju Narasinga Rao, aka SNR, has over 25 years of experience in delivering high-performance compute, secure networking and communication, and solar power systems, for customers including defence and telecommunications. His areas of expertise encompass technology and system architecture, product strategy and planning, and general management.

Prior to joining OMC, he was Chief Products Officer for Geodesic Limited, Mumbai where he ran VOIP, Mobile content delivery, Enterprise Communication and Secure Networking product lines. In his first job he built parallel computers as a Computer Scientist at the Advanced Numerical Research and Analysis Group (ANURAG), Defense R&D, Govt. of India. Other work experience includes stints at Vihaan Networks Limited, Gurgaon (Senior Vice President, Product Management) and Juniper Networks, CA (Senior Product Manager, SLT), to name a few.

SNR has a Masters Degree in Computer Software from AU Engineering College, Visakhapatnam. He is a co-inventor of a system and method for detection of intrusion attacks on packets transmitted on a network (U.S.Patent no.7,058,821, June 2006).

Shahab Ur Rehman Khan | Head, Shared Services

Shahab Khan

Shahab Khan has over 32 years of professional experience in senior management positions with leading IT & Telecom organizations. He has held multiple roles of increasing span and complexity in Project Execution, Design & Development, Operations, Shared Services, IT Infrastructure, IT Budgeting, IT Outsourcing and Vendor relationship management. Shahab is passionate about creating business value from technology, and has a consistent track record of delivering innovative solutions to maximise revenue.

Prior to OMC, Shahab was Vice President-Technology at Telenor India, where he was responsible for planning, installation, commissioning and Operation & Maintenance of all IT related solutions in Data Centers, NOCs, Circle locations, Outsourced Call Centers. He has also created strategic plans and delivered results across the IT landscape for Aircel India, Enkay Telecom India and others.

Shahab holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University. His professional certifications include Data Science Certification from IBM, IOT from University of California Irvine CA, ML from Stanford and Cryptocurrency & Bitcoin from Princeton.

DVS Rajan | VP, Business Development & Regulatory Affairs

DVS Rajan

DVS has 25 years of vast experience within Regulatory and Licensing matters. He has interacted with multiple government agencies (Dept. of Telecom, New & Renewable Energy, Corporate Affairs, Law & Justice, Food Processing, Civil Aviation, Finance, Commerce and Industry) for project-related approvals.

He was previously AVP of Siva Group, heading Corporate Affairs (Sterling Infotech Group – diversified global interesting in ICT, Telecom, Energy etc.)

Ganapathi Srinivasan | Head, International Business

Ganapathi Srinivasan

With more than a decade of experience in strategic negotiations, Ganapathi’s telecom expertise spans electronics, passive infrastructure, marketing procurements, logistics and distribution networks. He has successfully established end-to-end SCM activities for pan-India operations from scratch.

As VP (Head of Procurement/SCM) at Uninor (Telenor India Subsidiary), he achieved significant cost savings and lowest possible TCO by driving all strategic procurement activities. As Head of Procurement at Aircel, he was instrumental in closing all contracts on pan-India basis – creating cost-conscious operations achieving payback within 18 months of operation in certain circles, and resulting in the most competitive CAPEX and OPEX in Indian telecom at the time. At Ericsson, he was pricing head of India and Sri Lanka, creating pricing strategies leading to enhanced profitability.

Alwin Thomas | Sr. Manager – Business Development

Alwin Thomas

Alwin has been with the Infrastructure Business Unit of Mitsui & Co. Ltd., Tokyo since 2011 and is currently on secondment to OMC Power. He has a B.A Hons. in North East Asian Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi, and has successfully completed the Global Business Leaders Development Program of the Ministry of Economics Trade and Industries Japan. His work experience spans project development, project financing, M&A relating to infrastruture projects such as IPPs, Oil & Gas (e.g., Refineries, Gas Processing Plants, FPSO, FSRU), Renewable Energy etc., across multiple geographies including the North America, EMEA and Asian markets.

Jiten Vadhera | Business Head, Uttar Pradesh

Jiten Vadhera

Colonel Jiten Vadhera has had a fruitful tenure of 25 years with the Indian Army. Jiten was commissioned in 1988 into “The Rajputana Rifles”, and was assigned to counter the Kashmir, Punjab, Naga and Bodo insurgencies when they were at their peak. He commanded the Rashtriya Rifles battalion in the sensitive town of Bandipur in J&K, neutralising the insurgency in the area. The unit was awarded several gallantry awards and an Army Commander’s unit citation. He also held several other important command and staff appointments during his illustrious career.

He is an alumnus of National Defence Academy, Defence Services Staff College Wellington, and subsequently earned a diploma in senior level defence management. Jiten also has an MBA (Fellows) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Ketan Bhatt | Projects

Ketan Bhatt

Ketan Bhatt has over two decades of professional experience in the Indian Army where he grew exponentially to his last assignment as Director Information Technology, at the Information System Directorate, Army Headquarters. He has successfully managed diverse, cross functional and geographically dispersed teams, and met organizational objectives through constant motivation. He brought about efficient performance and cost optimization through innovative IT initiatives and also introduced standardized processes to manage the operations and maintenance of vital military equipment during various critical projects while serving the Indian Army.

A major achievement during his tenure in the Indian Army was to lead an operation and maintenance team of about 700 people to the award of the best performing Army Unit in the Southern Army. He is also a recipient of various Army awards – the most prominent being for innovative repairs and resolving power shortage in the extremely harsh terrain of Ladakh in 2005.

Manish Kumar Pandey | General Manager, Telecom Sales

Manish Kumar Pandey

Manish has 14 plus years of diverse experience in Sales, Key Account Management; Business Development and Operations in leading Telecom and Power solution companies – including Emerson Network Power and GE Digital Energy & Imergy Power Systems. Manish has worked with CXOs & mid level management of all major telecom Tower Companies & OPCOs in India – including Bharti Infratel, VIOM, ATC, RCOM, ITIL, Indus Towers, Tower Vision, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and many more.

Manish holds a B.E. from Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, Aurangabad.

Pooja Raman | Legal Counsel & Investment Lead

Pooja Raman

Pooja graduated with a B.A.LL.B from Amity University, and went on to gain rich practical experience by practicing corporate and commercial law with some of the leading names in the legal fraternity. Her interest in cross-border transactions drove her to acquire an LLM (International Business Law) from the National University of Singapore.

Anirudh Bhartiya | Sr. Manager, Corporate Finance & Strategy

Anirudh Bhartiya

Anirudh has hands on experience and expertise in Financial & Business Analysis, Process Mapping, Long term and Short term Strategic Planning and Business Development.

Anirudh was previously with Wings Biotech, where he handled financial management & analysis, and growth strategy. His key contributions include rolling out the organisation’s budgeting process, and successful implementation of an SAP based ERP system. Prior to this, Anirudh was with Olam International, managing projects and finances in Africa.

Anirudh received his Masters degree in finance and investments from Brunel University, London and his Bachelors degree in Computer Science from IMS Ghaziabad.

Nitish Shrivastava | Manager, Corporate Finance & Strategy

Nitish Shrivastava

Nitish has diverse experience in the energy sector – across multiple projects including project financing, commercial due diligence, project management, strategic planning and business development. Prior to joining OMC Power, Nitish worked in the advisory arm of PwC, supporting clients in developing investment models and leasing/pricing models for e-mobility, energy efficiency and clean energy projects. He has also worked in Adani power Limited in Thermal Power Plant Operations.

Nitish completed his M.B.A. in Finance from M.D.I. Gurgaon, and holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics enginerering from N.I.T. Jamshedpur.

Neharika Dawar | Corporate Officer

Neharika Dawar

Neharika has over 11 years of extensive industry experience, with expertise in conflict resolution, people management, and coordination. A goal driven and detail oriented management leader, Neharika supports the company in stakeholder discussions, negotiations, and customer communications.

Neharika has previously worked at Oman Air, Jet Airways, American Express and Hutch, where she effectively handled difficult situations and resolved deadlocks with amicable solutions. Neharika holds a Bachelors degree in Arts from Delhi University, and is currently pursuing an MBA.

Yasho Joshi | Projects, Gurgaon

Yasho Joshi

Cdr. Yasho Joshi served in the Indian Navy for over 20 years. His naval career included numerous field and staff appointments, including command of two warships and two tenures as Joint Director in Naval Headquarters, Ministry of Defence. Having taken premature retirement from the Navy, he worked with LexInnova Technologies as Director of Operations.

An MBA from Faculty of Management Studies (Delhi University), Yasho also holds an M.Sc. in Defence and Strategic Studies from Defence Services Staff College, Wellington.

Samir Kumar Jha | Operations Head, Uttar Pradesh

Samir Kumar Jha

Wing Commander Samir Kumar Jha served in the Indian Air Force for over twenty-five years, logging over 6000 flying hours, mainly with customized Boeing Business Jet aircraft. Trained in Seattle WA, Samir was pivotal to VIP fleet operations of the IAF, setting up and managing a large operation for induction and operationalisation of BBJ fleet, with a team of over 600 including aviators and ground crew. As a Senior Flight Commander of the IAF VIP squadron, he led several process initiatives to improve supplier performance. Samir was awarded the Chief of Air Staff and Air Officer Commanding in Chief Commendation.

Samir holds a double Bachelors degree in Science and Education from Regional College of Education, Bhubaneshwar, and an M.B.A from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University. Samir also completed a 6-month Management Development Program from M.D.I Gurgaon and is a KPMG trained Six Sigma Green Belt.

Vikash Kumar Shah | Financial Controller, Uttar Pradesh

Vikash Shah

Vikash Kumar Shah is a seasoned finance professional with more than 15 years of hands on experience and expertise in the field of financial accounting and regulatory compliances. His last professional stint was with Essjay Ericsson Pvt Ltd where his areas of responsibility included consolidation of accounts, regulatory and statutory compliance, coordination with Banks, finalization of MIS & financial statements. His hobbies include playing cricket and attending Management development workshops.
